Professional Instruction
All of our faculty have
extensive biographies and backgrounds in the professional dance
industry including cruise ships, theme parks, principal dancing for
recording artists, principal roles in national ballet company shows,
and provide award winning choreography. Our faculty has certified
teaching credits through statewide dance studios, the United Dance
Association, and national conventions. Instructors have both BA and
MA degrees.
2. Growth and Development
At West Coast Music & Dance FX, dance is our way of life. Dance is
what we do; it’s not what we do on the side. First and foremost, we
are dancers and we are dance teachers. We are involved in the dance
business and understand the industry. Because of our involvement,
students are given opportunities to attend dance conventions, dance
competitions, and master classes. Current students are represented
by talent agencies in San Francisco and can be seen in media work
for national clothing companies. Even if students are not on the
professional path, they still receive professional instruction.

West
Coast Music & Dance FX is one of the largest studios around with
more than 2,050 square feet of open dance space. Our studio
includes a quiet study room for our students, a dance store, and two
private studios for personalized instruction and smaller classes.
Studio floors are made of hard wood, which creates a sprung feeling
effect for all landings. Our studio is conveniently located in
historic downtown Hollister, centrally located from local
restaurants, shops, and businesses. Enjoy a latte just two doors
down while you wait for class to finish!
